First Hospital in NM reaches crisis standard of care, what this means for you

San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington has declared crisis standards of care

Our state enacted crisis standards of care back in October. San Juan Regional is the first hospital to make those changes. They say they’ve hit a breaking point because of pockets of mostly unvaccinated people. San Juan County recorded 287 new coronavirus cases today; only Bernalillo County had more with 333.
