Allergist seeing an increase in patients during New Mexico’s windy season

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The high winds in New Mexico can bring tough days for allergy sufferers. Many people right now are dealing with spring time allergies. Dr. Osman Dokmeci, an allergist at UNM Hospital, told KOAT that the winds can carry pollen for very long distances, even several hundred miles.
