SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 2024 lawmaking session is a short one. Politicians only have a total of 30 days to get their work done. And so far, a lot of the high-priority bills haven’t made it very far through the process. Wednesday, January 31, lawmakers will continue putting more effort into moving bills forward. Among those on the table are a bill to boost climate-focused development and a proposal to offer a tax credit for gun storage.
