Insurance rates keep climbing

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Insurance premiums in New Mexico have increased 34% in a year. Bob Passmore, the department vice president of personal lines at the American Property Casualty Insurance Association says, factors like riskier driving behavior, such as speeding, distracted driving and impaired driving, serve to increase injury and collision claims costs.
