ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A controversial New Mexico politician remains in federal custody Monday after he was arrested in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. Otero County Commissioner and Cowboys for Trump founder Couy Griffin faces federal charges for his role in the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6.
