Former U.S. Rep. Xochitl Torres Small Nominated For USDA Post In Biden Administration

U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) released the following statement in support of the President Joe Biden’s announcement that he will nominate Xochitl Torres Small to serve as the Undersecretary for Rural Development in the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Torres Small, who is from Las Cruces, New Mexico, previously served as the U.S. Representative for New Mexico’s Second Congressional District.
