Gov says she reached “mutual decision” on Blalock’s departure

SANTA FE, N.M. — Children Youth and Families Secretary Brian Blalock was a no show at a news conference today when Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced that he was out of her administration.

“He’s on vacation. That is why he’s not here,” Lujan Grisham said when asked about his presence. ”Otherwise he would be here.”
