New vaccine could lower bad cholesterol developed at UNM

SANTA FE, N.M. — According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly 2 in 5 adults have high cholesterol, and a new vaccine developed by researchers at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine could help lower “bad” LDL cholesterol.
