The exhibit, Portraits of Palawan, displays artwork by the late artist and Bataan Survivor Don Thomas Schloat (1921-2010). Schloat served in the Philippines as an Army medic during WWII. As a POW, he was interned at Palawan and Bilibid. He created many drawings during this time, which he later sent to newspapers. After the war, he worked for Disney, Hanna-Barbera, and Filmation Studio.
