Public Comment Period Open from August 28 to September 15
The City’s Office of Affordable Housing invites community members to provide feedback on the draft of the 2022-23 CAPER, now available on the City’s website. The City of Santa Fe receives an annual grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) called the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), which is used to address the housing and community development needs of Santa Fe’s residents with low-and-moderate-incomes. As a condition of funding, the City submits the Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) to HUD, which describes how CDBG funds were used in the community for the program year. The CAPER describes the extent to which priorities, goals and strategies have been met as identified in the City’s 2018–2022 Consolidated Plan.
