SANTA FE — The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission (NMPRC) will hold a third informational meeting to explore the reliability of service from each of the state’s three investor-owned electric utilities (IOUs) – Public Service Company of New Mexico, Southwestern Public Service Company, and El Paso Electric. The workshop will include discussions on proposals from each of the IOUs regarding reliability reporting requirements the Commission will consider prior to issuing a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. Information gathered at this meeting will be used to establish rules for reporting standardized reliability metrics for electric utility distribution operations.
